Ridgeview Charter School in Fort Collins is at the Top

Top Ridgeview Classical School of Fort Collins is chartered through the Poudre Valley School system.

Ridgeview Classical Schools of Fort Collins is the only high school in Colorado to achieve the highest ranking in all four categories identified as priorities by the Colorado Department of Education, according to results released this week.

The ranking system is based on four indicators: academic achievement, academic growth, academic growth gaps, and postsecondary and workforce readiness. Ridgeview School of Fort Collins was rated as exceeding all four goals.

The CO state board of education assigns its 2,080 K-12 schools to different categories to comply with the Education Accountability Act of 2009.

Ridgeview Classical Schools, www.ridgeviewclassical.com is a free, public K-12 Charter School, chartered through the Poudre School District in Fort Collins. The school opened in 2001, has high school grades 9-12, and has open enrollment through a lottery system.
