A New York Style Pizzeria Soon to Open in Fort Collins

The Garlic Knot, a New York-style pizza and pasta franchise restaurant with four metro Denver locations, will open in the former Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders site in Fort Collins, CO

Matt Ezzo, franchise owner of The Garlic Knot in Fort Collins, is originally from upstate New York and said the pizza is as authentic as it gets for our in general.

The Garlic Knot will offer pizzas, chicken wings, calzones, salads and pastas.

Construction is going on inside the building at 2601 S. Lemay Ave. in Fort Collins, CO.

Plans to have the restaurant open for business by this spring with a tentative opening date around April 1.

“We love that Fort Collins has a great Midwestern feel,” he said. “We think it is perfect for family and community. It fits the culture of our business.”

Located between Starbucks and Runza at the southwest corner of Drake Road and Lemay Avenue in Fort Collins, Ezzo said he always knew he wanted to open the restaurant there because of the great location. The fact that Mancino’s closed left a void that The Garlic Knot can fill.
